SIMBAD references

We have performed long slit spectroscopy both in the [OII]λ372.7 and Hβ -[OIII]λ500.7 domains of the extended ionized nebulosities surrounding four quasars of moderate redshift (0.25<z<0.37), selected from the Stockton & McKenty (1987) imaging survey . We present kinematic data and give line intensities in a number of extranuclear regions. For the arc-like nebulosity of PKS 1011-282, located on the edge of its radio halo, it is shown that the emission region may consist of small clouds photoionized by the quasar continuum and confined by a more dilute X-ray emitting medium.
