Abstract (from CDS):

Recent spectroscopy and photometry of the planetary nebula N66 (SMP83) in the Large Magellanic Cloud show a continuing evolution, with a central WR spectrum becoming more visible. The planetary nebula shell and WR star have velocities with differ by ∼240 km s^-1. Properties of this interesting object are reviewed, and we discuss its possible X-ray detection by ROSAT.
