Oscillator strengths for Ge II.

Abstract (from CDS):
Spurred on by the fairly recent discovery of Ge II in an astrophysical object (χ Lupi) we have calculated oscillator strengths for excitations from the 4s24p (2P1/2) ground state. An analytic atomic independent-particle-model approach is used in these calculations. Good agreement with experimental and theoretical data are obtained.
