Abstract (from CDS):

In this paper we summarize the properties of the Asiago photometric system proposed by Munari and Moro (1998) for the Gaia mission. We calculate magnitudes and colors of stars of different spectral types and luminosity classes, and by means of the reddening-free parameters Q(i,j,k,l) we check the ability of the system to discriminate between stars of different evolutionary phase and metallicity.
