Abstract (from CDS):
We here present differential photometry of the suspected Cataclysmic Variables (CVs) HM Aur, FBS 0827+738, FBS 1614+711, and NSV 7956. For comparison, we also observed the already known CVs FO Per, HQ And and RX And. We find the lightcurves of the first four objects to be constant within the errors, letting the CV-classification appear unlikely.
