Abstract (from CDS):
In the last 13 years the times of maximum for the RR Lyrae star CI And calculated with the elements the GCVS4 give (O-C)-values which has increased steadily to nearly two hours. Therefore new elements are derived from 12 observations between 1991 and 2004 with the result E0=2453059,3326 (HJD) and P=0,4847256d. The new rather small (O-C)-values are discussed and the problems which arise by the determination of the times of maximum of RR Lyrae stars are described briefly.
