Abstract (from CDS):

Further to IAUC 8594, N. Ponticello, M. Baek, J. Burket, and W. Li report the LOSS/KAIT discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images. SN 2005dx is located at R.A. = 4h04m28s.85, Decl. = -17o54'27".5 (equinox 2000.0), which is 12".3 west and 10".8 south of the center of MCG -03-11-9. Approximate KAIT magnitudes: Feb. 23.17 UT, [19.5; Sept. 9.49, 18.6; 11.48, 18.7.
