Abstract (from CDS):
SN 2005kv, which is located at R.A. = 8h34m11s.15, Decl. = +6d16'34".9 (equinox 2000.0), was discovered at magnitude approximately 19.2 (calibrated to R). A spectrogram (range 320-1000 nm), obtained on Nov. 25.5 with the Supernova Integral Field Spectrograph (SNIFS) on the University of Hawaii 2.2-m telescope, shows 2005kv to be a type-Ia supernova approximately one week past maximum at a redshift of z about 0.072.
