Abstract (from CDS):

Preliminary analysis of a SNIFS spectrogram of SN 2005km in UGC 6356 (CBET 303), obtained Nov. 25.7, reveals that it is a type-Ia supernova around maximum light. Subtraction of the host-galaxy spectrum reveals the presence of Si II 635.5-nm and Ca II infrared triplet P-Cyg profiles.
