Supernova 2006aa in NGC 3947.

Abstract (from CDS):
Further to IAUC 8667, E. Lee and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Feb. 8.48 (at mag 18.1) and 9.50 UT (mag 18.0). SN 2006aa is located at R.A. = 11h53m19s.89, Decl. = +20o45'18".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 6".5 west and 12".2 north of the nucleus of NGC 3947. A KAIT image taken on Jan. 23.49 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.0).
