Abstract (from CDS):

SN 2006ag (mag approximately 17.9, calibrated to R) is located at R.A. = 12h00m17s.12, Decl. = +28o36'22".0 (equinox 2000.0). A spectrum obtained Feb. 15.5 UT reveals it to be a type-IIn supernova at an approximate redshift of z = 0.035, measured from the peak of the H-alpha emission. The continuum is extremely blue, and other Balmer lines are visible.
