Abstract (from CDS):
Further to IAUC 8710, H. Khandrika and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on May 28.23 (at mag 18.2) and 29.20 UT (mag 17.8). SN 2006cp is located at R.A. = 12h19m14s.89, Decl. = +22o25'38".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 19".9 east and 15".3 south of the center of UGC 7357. A KAIT image taken on May 16.24 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag 19.0).
