Abstract (from CDS):

SN 2006cw (mag approximately 19.4) is located at R.A. = 15h03m01s.01, Decl. = +21o41'40".6, and a spectrum reveals it to be a type-II supernova at a redshift of z approximately 0.065, similar to the spectrum of SN 1993J at two to three weeks after explosion.
