Abstract (from CDS):

A. V. Filippenko, M. Moore, and T. N. Steele, University of California, Berkeley, report that inspection of CCD spectra (range 330-1040 nm), obtained on Aug. 2 UT with the Shane 3-m reflector (+ Kast spectrograph) at Lick Observatory, shows that SN 2006eb is of type Ia, very roughly 6 weeks past maximum brightness.
