Abstract (from CDS):
Further to IAUC 8741, J. Schwehr and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images, the position of 2006es given as R.A. = 3h42m24s.48, Decl. = +39o14'31".0 (equinox 2000.0), which is 5".1 east and 8".3 south of the center of UGC 2828. Available magnitudes for 2006es: Feb. 14.20 UT, [19.5; Aug. 14.53, 17.0 (under poor seeing conditions); Sept. 1.54, 18.0.
