Abstract (from CDS):

Complete CCD BVRI light curves of the eclipsing binary BF Vel are almost symmetric, with the secondary minimum markedly deeper at longer wavelengths, indicating a large temperature difference between the components. There is a slight O' Connell effect present in the R and I curves.
