SIMBAD references

G. Pignata, J. Maza, M. Hamuy, R. Antezana, L. Gonzalez, P. Gonzalez, P. Lopez, S. Silva, and G. Folatelli, Universidad de Chile; and D. Reichart, K. Ivarsen, A. Crain, D. Foster, M. Nysewander, and A. LaCluyze, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on the behalf CHASE project, report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag approximately 17.7) on a luminance- filter images taken on May 24.02 and 25.10 UT with the 0.41-m "PROMPT 2" telescope located at Cerro Tololo. The new object is located at R.A. = 9h42m22s.89 ± 0".1, Decl. = -3o45'10".1 ± 0".1 (equinox 2000.0). Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on Apr. 21.01 and 26.01 (limiting mag 18.0).
