Digitized Sky Survey images show nothing at the position of 2008dn (limiting mag about 20.5). Additional KAIT magnitudes for 2008do in UGC 8179: May 30.24, [19.6; June 10.22, [18.8; 21.28 UT, 18.1. The type-Ia supernova 1988K also appeared in UGC 8179.
