Abstract (from CDS):
E. Guido and G. Sostero, Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, report their confirmation of the possible nova (cf. CBET 2050) on Nov. 26.36 UT (GRAS Observatory, near Mayhill, NM, 0.25-m, f/3,4 reflector + CCD). The unfiltered CCD magnitude was about 8.2 and the position R.A. = 4:47:54.12, Decl. = -10:10:43.1 (equinox 2000.0, UCAC2 Catalogue reference stars). They also remark on the nearby star of mag 15 on the DSS red plate of 1990 Nov. 23. See also http://bit.ly/8N32kV .
