Abstract (from CDS):
M. Ergon, Stockholm University; S. Benetti and F. Bufano, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica, Osservatorio di Padova; A. Pastorello, Queen's University, Belfast; and J. Sollerman, Stockholm University, on behalf of a larger collaboration, report that a spectrogram of 2010im (cf. CBET 2484), obtained on Oct. 30.03 UT with the European Southern Observatory's New Technology Telescope (+ EFOSC2; range 370-920 nm; resolution 2.8 nm) is consistent with that of a type-Ia supernova about 50 days old at a redshift of about 0.018.
