Nysewander, and A. LaCluyze, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on behalf of the CHASE project, report the discovery of two apparent supernovae on unfiltered images taken on Nov. 11.32 UT with the 0.41-m 'PROMPT 4' telescope located at Cerro Tololo:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------— SN 2010 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset ---------------------------------------------------------------------------— 2010jp Nov. 11.32 6 16 30.63 -21 24 36.3 17.2 – 2010jq Nov. 11.32 10 36 36.40 -27 28 44.5 17.2 18".6 E, 0".2 N ---------------------------------------------------------------------------—

The uncertainty in the above positions is stated to be ± 0".2 in each coordinate. Additional approximate magnitudes for 2010jp, which is located in the field of the merging galaxy IC 2163: Oct. 16.32, [18.5; 22.23, [18.0; Nov. 12.14, 17.4. Additional approximate magnitudes for 2010jq: Apr. 15.08, [18.5; May 13.00, [18.5; Nov. 12.30, 17.1.
