Abstract (from CDS):
Kazuyoshi Imamura, Okayama University of Science (OUS), reports that a low-dispersion spectrum (R about 400) of PNV J17474639-2335112 was obtained on Jan. 28.886 UT with the 0.28-m Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (+ DSS-7) at the OUS Observatory, showing a clear H_alpha emission line (FWHM approximately 1300 km/s), suggesting that the object is a classical nova.
