Abstract (from CDS):

. M. Silverman, W. Li, and A. V. Filippenko, University of California, Berkeley, report that inspection of a CCD spectrum (range 340-1000 nm), obtained by G. Canalizo, K. Hiner, and M. Lazarova (University of California, Riverside) on May 5 UT with the 3-m Shane reflector (+ Kast) at Lick Observatory, shows that PSN J09380828+0931111 = SN 2011cf is a highly reddened type-II supernova. The spectrum shows a red continuum, with the broad H-alpha emission component greatly dominating over the absorption component.
