SIMBAD references

Akerlof, University of Michigan; J. C. Wheeler and E. Chatzopoulos, University of Texas; and G. H. Marion Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, on behalf of the ROTSE collaboration, report the discovery of a new supernova (mag about 16.6) in unfiltered images taken on Aug. 20.22 and 25.19 UT with the 0.45-m ROTSE-IIIb telescope at McDonald Observatory. The new object is located at R.A. = 23:23:20.59, Decl. = +16:47:41.3 (equinox 2000.0; uncertainty about 1"), which is 1".5 west and 1".1 south of the center of the host galaxy (SDSS J232320.68+164742.5).
