KH 15D (V582 Mon): "Ich bin wieder da".

DIEDERICH H.-G.

Abstract (from CDS):

In the system KH 15D (V582 Mon) a binary star has been eclipsed gradually by a precessing circumstellar disc until none of the stars did ever reach their maximum light finally. This evolution gave rise for continuous monitoring lasting from 2002 to 2010. Amateur imgaging allowed to predict, when the total eclipse should occure. This prediction is compared with "real life". With this the project "evolution of minima of KH 15D" seemed to have come to an end. But unexpectedly, only two years later (2012), KH 15D increased its brightness and forced the observers, to continue the project now named "evolution of maxima of KH 15D".
