Abstract (from CDS):
In September/October 2012 the BL-Lac Object S5 0716+71 had a very bright and long outburst with a bright peak of 12m,4 on 2012 09.24. The published lightcurve based on visual observations made with the 12,5 inch and 16 inch Newton in my observatory in Großostheim - Wenigumstadt and visual and CCD observations of P. Christoph Gerhard OSB with the 10 inch Newton from his observatory in the Abtei Münsterschwarzach.
