SIMBAD references

J. L. Prieto, Princeton University, reports that optical spectroscopy (range 350-960 nm; resolution 0.7 nm) of 2011jx was obtained with the APO 3.5-m telescope (+ DIS) on Jan. 2 UT, showing it to be a type-Ia supernova. After cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024), a redshift of 0.085 and a phase of approximately nine days after maximum light was found.
