SIMBAD references

L. Tomasella, A. Pastorello, S. Benetti, E. Cappellaro, P. Ochner, M. Turatto, and S. Valenti, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica, Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova, report that a spectrogram of 2012bd, obtained on Mar. 18.10 UT with the 1.82-m Copernico Telescope (+ AFOSC; range 340-790 nm, resolution 2.3 nm), indicates that it is a type-II supernova similar to the narrow-line type-IIP supernova 1997D (Turatto et al. 1998, Ap.J. 498, L129). The expansion velocity of the ejected material, as deduced from the position of the H_alpha P-Cyg absorption, is about 2700 km/s.
