SIMBAD references

D. Milisavljevic, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics; R. Fesen, Dartmouth College; and T. Pickering, South African Astronomical Observatory and Southern African Large Telescope, report that low-dispersion spectra (range 350-880 nm), obtained on May 24.8 UT with the 10-m SALT telescope (+ RSS), show PSN J10145093-4337488 = SN 2012cl to be a type-II supernova. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows reasonable matches to the type-IIP events SN 2004et and SN 1999em at about ten days after maximum light.
