Temperature and distance dependence of tidal circularization in close binaries: a catalog of eclipsing binaries in the southern hemisphere observed by the TESS satellite.

Abstract (from CDS):

Journal keyword(s): Binary stars - Close binary stars - Detached binary stars - Eclipsing binary stars - Light curves - Tides - Tidal interaction
VizieR on-line data: <Available at CDS (J/ApJ/912/123): table2.dat table3.dat>
CDS comments: Among the 748 Eclipsing Binaries listed in Table 1, the identification is wrong for 35 objects (5%) : the actual EB with the same period is another star, at distances ranging from 6'' to 64'' (3 pixels of TESS; see UCAC4 490-037966 versus V* BX CMi). As a consequence the object type EB* has not been taken into account in SIMBAD because the identifications are not sure; we just linked the reference to the TIC numbers. We also note that about 50 stars in Table 1 have a confirmed or candidate planet.
