CCD Photometry, Period Analysis, Light Curve Deconvolution, and Evolutionary Status of the High Amplitude delta Scuti Variable Star, TYC 3224-2602-1.

Abstract (from CDS):

CCD-derived photometric magnitude data (B, V, Rc, and Ic) were secured at the Stonecrest Observatory (SO) between 20 September and 18 October 2023 for TYC 3224-2602-1, a pulsating variable star classified as a High Amplitude delta Scuti (HADS) star. These data, along with V magnitudes from the AAVSO International Database (AID) and stellar flux measurements from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) resulted in a total of 277 new times of maxima (ToMx); 215 from the TESS flux measurements, two from the AAVSO archived data, and 60 from the multicolor SO data. All of these were combined in a period analysis to produce an updated linear ephemeris. B-V color indices from the multicolor SO data provided estimates of the effective temperature and other parameters. Discrete Fourier deconvolution of the data revealed a fundamental and two significant harmonics. TYC 3224-2602-1 is most probably a simple radially oscillating HADS star.
