A Possible Unidentified O III-emitting Nebula Near the Globular Cluster NGC 3201.

BATTU A. and BARCARO L.

Abstract (from CDS):

We report the possible detection of a faint, previously undocumented O III-emitting nebular structure in the vicinity of the globular cluster NGC 3201. The structure was observed during a deep-sky imaging campaign, with a total exposure time of over 65 hr. The emission appears elongated and filamentary, with clear enhancement in the O III band. While its physical nature remains undetermined, we publish this finding to invite further investigation from the community.
