Abstract (from CDS):

In this study, we present the reclassification of the star BS Uma, known as an EA-type variable star at the Variable Star Index. The SSV-UAI-GRAV research section of the Unione Astrofili Italiani (UAI) has planned an observing campaign with six ground-based observatories in 2025 May in order to study its peculiarities. From the observing sessions, combined with the available data from the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae, Zwicky Transient Facility and TESS surveys, the star was reclassified as EA+BY+UV. The orbital period of the eclipses was found to be 0.349509 day, while typical modulations of BY Draconis-type variables were noted during the maximum phases. Thanks to a session of the TESS space telescope, an outburst was detected that confirmed its eruptive nature.
