Abstract (from CDS):

The star BZ Del had been classified by the Variable Star Index as a suspected variable star. The variable stars section of the Unione Astrofili Italiani undertook an observation campaign between 2025 August and September using ground-based telescopes to determine its variability. Our study showed that BZ Del is an EA system formed by a pair of stars that eclipse each other with a period of 1.985984 days.
