Detection of young stellar objects with ISO.

Abstract (from CDS):

Preliminary 15µm results obtained with ISOCAM are compared with deep K-band and H2O maser observations of a 0.244deg2 field in the galactic plane at I=+45o. A new maser source is found to be associated with the infrared source with the largest colour index, (mK-m15µm)≥10, most probably a young star in its earliest evolutionary phase. Other three objects with (mK-m15µm)≥9, probably young stars, are also found in the observed region.
