Abstract (from CDS):
Further to IAUC 8222, K. Hornoch reports the discovery of an apparent nova located at R.A. = 0h42m53s.64, Decl. = +41o18'45".9 (equinox 2000.0), which is 105" east and 157" north of the center of M31. Available R-band magnitudes: Nov. 2.878 UT, [18.6; 9.073, 16.9; 29.883, 18.7. The new object is also absent from many more of his images dating to 2002.
