Supernova 2005ek in UGC 2526.

Abstract (from CDS):
Further to IAUC 8602, H. Khandrika and W. Li report the LOSS discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on Sept. 24.53 (at mag 17.5) and 25.37 UT (mag 17.3). SN 2005ek is located at R.A. = 3h05m48s.96, Decl. = +36o46'10".6 (equinox 2000.0), which is 66".5 east and 60".0 south of the nucleus of UGC 2526. A KAIT image taken on Sept. 18.51 showed nothing at this position (limiting mag about 19).
