Abstract (from CDS):
SN 2005kw, which was discovered at mag approximately 20.0, is located at R.A. = 9h36m06s.05, Decl. = +24d24'13".8. A SNIFS spectrogram of 2005kw, obtained on Nov. 25.6, reveals it to be a type-Ia supernova approximately one month past maximum at a redshift of z about 0.068.
