CP Ori - eine Re-Analyse.

BAKAN S.

Abstract (from CDS):

The unusually big scatter of historic minimum dates of the eclipsing binary CP Ori in the LKDB of the BAV - especially of results from photographic plates - has been substantially decrease by reanalyzing the original publications. Together with new observations this improved time series of minima hints at a continuous reduction of the eclipsing period. New elements with a quadratic term are proposed, that represent the reanalyzed historic minimum observations now within about ±1 hour.
