Abstract (from CDS):

J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Center, Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University, on behalf of the observers J. Fynbo, S. Riermer-Sorensen, A. Sejersen, and K. Skovbo from the DARS summer school, reports on spectroscopy of 2008ey (cf. CBET 1473) obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-900 nm, resolution 0.8 nm) on Aug. 25.879 UT. The fully reduced spectrum of 2008ey shows it to be a type-Ia supernova about a month past maximum.
