Abstract (from CDS):
J. Kajava, Oulo University; together with J. Fynbo, D. Della Monica Ferreira, M. Michalowski, T. Zafar, and J. Sollerman, Dark Cosmology Center, Niels Bohr Institute, report on spectroscopy of 2008fb obtained with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-900 nm, resolution 0.8 nm) on Aug. 26.25 UT. The fully reduced spectrum of 2008fb shows it to be a normal type-II supernova several weeks past maximum.
