Abstract (from CDS):

This same object has been independently discovered at mag approximately 15.1 ± 0.1 by G. Pignata, J. Maza, M. Hamuy, R. Antezana, L. Gonzalez, P. Gonzalez, P. Lopez, S. Silva, G. Folatelli, D. Iturra, R. Cartier, and F. Forster, Universidad de Chile; and D. Reichart, K. Ivarsen, A. Crain, D. Foster, M. Nysewander, and A. LaCluyze, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, on two R-band images taken via the CHASE project on Sept. 18.03 UT with the 0.41-m 'PROMPT 5' telescope located at Cerro Tololo. They measure the position of 2008ft as R.A. = 20h13m59s.89 ± 0".1, Decl. = -44o21'05".5 ± 0".1 (equinox 2000), which is about 39".0 east and 1".3 south from the nucleus of the galaxy ESO 284-G32. Nothing is visible at this position on archival images taken on July 9.22 and Aug. 1.16 (limiting mag 18.0).
