Abstract (from CDS):

Following posting on the Central Bureau's unconfirmed-objects webpage, C. Jacques and E. Pimentel, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, report that a 60-s unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag 17.0) of 2008ft, taken on Sept. 25.11 UT with a 30-cm f/3.0 Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector at the CEAMIG-REA Observatory, yields mag 16.0 and position end figures 59s.88, 05".4. Nothing is visible at this position on a Digitized Sky Survey image from 1995 May 31 (limiting red mag 19.5).
