Supernova 2012V in NGC 6829 = PSN J19471032+5954599.

Abstract (from CDS):

S. Valenti, A. Pastorello, L. Tomasella, and S. Benetti, Osservatorio Astronomico di Padova, Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica, report that a spectrum (range 330-820 nm; resolution 2.4 nm) of PSN J19471032+5954599 = SN 2012V was obtained on Jan. 30.21 UT with the Ekar-Copernico 1.82-m telescope (+ AFOSC). Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra via the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows that 2012V is a type-Ia supernova similar to SN 1989B about one week before the B-band maximum light.
