SCHIRMER J.

Abstract (from CDS):

The collected data concerning the variable V481 Per (type EB:) show that the star doesn’t behave as expected when using the preliminary ephemeris given by V. Harvig und L. Leis [1]. The primary minimum did not occur around HJD 2457065 (11.02.2015) nor did the secondary minimum around HJD 2456317 (24.01.2013). The “fast irregular brightness variations” (Harvig & Leis) partly show evidence of regularity. Maybe there is a kind of periodicity behind these short-term sinusoidal variations. In their publication Harvig and Leis show a serrated light curve whereas new data tend to a more sinusoidal one. A period of 714,1 d was tested, but further observations throughout the next years are still necessary.
