WD 0158-160, a new pulsating DB white dwarf.

Abstract (from CDS):

The DB star, WD 0158-160 (=EC 01585-1600) is shown to be a variable white dwarf with a rich pulsation spectrum, dominated by a strong variation with a frequency near 1637 µHz (amplitude ∼0.024 mag, period 598 s), though at least 10 frequencies are detected between about 1285 and 5747 µHz (780-173 s) in a relatively small data set. At ∼14.5 mag, the star is one of the brightest known DBV stars.
